Nada Yoga – Yoga of Sound

NADA YOGA – YOGA OF SOUND

Nada Yoga is a metaphysical philosophy and practice from India that is about 5000 years old. It is rooted in the assumption that the entire creation has emerged from vibrations, oscillations, exists and is created again and again and that everything that exists is connected to each other through these very vibrations: Nada Brahma, the world is sound. These vibrations are called “Nad”, “Naad” or “Nada” in Sanskrit. Nada also means process, stream of consciousness or just sound.”

Says so on wikis. Little surprising for the 432 Hertz Church. Everyone agrees right away.

“Oh, you do yoga?” is what I sometimes hear in conversations. For heaven’s sake, NO, I want to say, but only get out a “yes, something like that”, so as not to be seen as the eternal troublemaker again. “I make music,” I quickly add. To preempt. Musicians are allowed to be slightly crazy.
The reality is, I’m going to come out now. I belong to the minority of the universal. Don’t you know them? These are the non-existent ones, who are nowhere. Neither left nor right, neither above nor below, who are nowhere at home, who sit around aimlessly and do nothing and like to avoid all problems.
I have always been like that. As a small child, I used to sit for hours in the sun in the garden, watching the ants or the clouds. “He’s dreaming,” my mother would say.

I wasn’t dreaming at all, I was fully there. Just different. I only understood that as I grew older. Everything is different. Everything is nothing – nada (Spanish).
I simply did nothing but nothing. That always helped, today I am a professional nothing, a nothing, a nothing.
Not quite true. I do something, then, when it always occurs to me. Whereby one must differentiate between the ideas. There’s a lot of garbage, but somewhere there’s also a light, the voice of silence, so to speak.
You learn to distinguish between them over time. Garbage separation!

Today I read in the Yoga Wiki about Nada Yoga
THE OVERTONE SERIES – THE CELESTIAL LADDER
That’s why, from a spiritual and mystical point of view, music rich in overtones is particularly valuable: fundamental or modal music in which the overtones of the respective fundamental can come to fruition in the course of the piece of music.
